In this Statement, "personal data" means information that can identify an individual, either on its own or when combined with other information. "Smart Tag" refers to the QR-code tag provided by us that can be bound to a pet or item profile; scanning it with a phone camera, WeChat or other scanning tools displays the profile and allows the Scanner to contact the tag owner. "Scan page" refers to the web page opened by a Scanner after scanning the Smart Tag QR code.

For products of other brands supported by us, our customers decide which personal data is collected through our Products. We collect information according to our customers' requirements, and such processing is limited to providing the services agreed between the customer and us. If you are a user of one of our customers and do not wish that customer to contact you, please contact that customer directly and state your request.

2.1 Account or user profile data: when you register an account with us, we may collect information such as your email address and username (email), which is used for login and identity verification.

2.2 Tag profile data: when you activate and manage a Smart Tag, you may voluntarily provide pet/item profile information, including name, breed, gender, spayed/neutered status, microchip ID, photos and medical notes.

2.3 Contact information: to make it easy for Scanners to reach you, you may provide the tag owner's name, phone number and email address. Under privacy mode (Privacy Shield), this contact information is not shown to Scanners.

2.4 Feedback: when you use the feedback and suggestion features of our products, we may collect your email address and the feedback content so that we can address your issues promptly.

2.5 Usage data: during your interaction with our website and services, we automatically collect usage data related to visits, clicks, scans, sending/receiving messages and other usage of our website and services.

2.6 Log information: when you use our services, server logs and exception stacks may be recorded, including access time, request path, IP address, browser and terminal type.

2.7 Scan log data: when a Scanner opens your Smart Tag page and reports a location, we record scan logs, including the tag ID, IP address, city, latitude/longitude, location source (GPS/IP) and scan time, to notify you of leads regarding your pet or item.

2.8 Location information: we collect real-time precise (GPS) or imprecise (IP-based) geolocation information of a Scanner only when the Scanner explicitly taps "Share Location". When GPS is unavailable, we may obtain a city-level approximate location through the IP address. Your (the tag owner's) precise location is never collected.

2.9 Basic tag information: when you activate and bind a Smart Tag, we collect information such as the tag ID (unique code), activation status, binding time, whether the tag is marked as Lost, and the time the lost status changed.

2.10 Tag profile changes: when you modify profiles, switch privacy modes, or update photos or contact information through the management dashboard, we record the corresponding changes to keep the Service running properly.

3.1 To provide services to you: we process your account and user profile data, tag profile data, contact information, usage data, location information and scan logs in order to provide the products and services you have requested or purchased, for example: displaying profiles after scanning, notifying tag owners of scan locations, and delivering private messages in privacy mode (Message Owner email delivery). The legal basis for such processing is our performance of the service terms of the contract concluded with you.

3.2 To improve our services: we process your usage data, location information and scan logs to ensure the functionality and security of our products, develop and improve our products and services, analyze our operational efficiency, and prevent fraud or improper use (for example, maliciously or falsely reporting scan locations, automatically flooding scan records, or scraping contact information). The legal basis for such processing is our performance of the relevant service terms of the contract concluded with you.

3.3 Non-marketing communications: we process your personal data to send you important information regarding the Service, changes to terms, conditions and policies, and/or other administrative information. Because such information is important, you may not be able to opt out of receiving such emails. The legal basis for such processing is our performance of the relevant service terms of the contract concluded with you.

3.4 Marketing communications: we process your personal data to provide you with marketing and promotional information related to our products and services. In such cases, every email we send contains instructions allowing you to opt out of receiving such emails. In addition, if you agree to participate in our sweepstakes, contests or other promotions, we may use your personal data to administer such activities. The legal basis for such processing is your consent.

3.5 Personalized services: we process your account and user profile data and usage data to personalize product design and provide you with tailored services, and to invite you to participate in surveys regarding product usage. The legal basis for such processing is your consent.

Account security: your login password is stored using an irreversible encryption algorithm (bcrypt), sessions are verified with signed tokens (JWT), and "Log out of all devices" immediately invalidates historical sessions.

Data communication: communication is supported over secure algorithms and encrypted transmission protocols (HTTPS).

Privacy protection: under privacy mode (Privacy Shield), the server does not return any contact fields (name, phone, email, internal identifiers) to requests that are not from the tag owner, preventing number leakage at the API layer. Scanners can only contact you through the "Message Owner" private message.

Data processing: strict data filtering and validation and a complete data audit process are applied, and scan reports are verified for source and deduplicated to prevent false scans and data abuse.

Data storage: all confidential user information is securely encrypted for storage.
